Skills & Tools: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), strong conceptual and typographic skills, advanced knowledge of book manufacturing and special effects. Proven ability to manage and mentor designers, excellent communication skills, and agility to balance deep design focus with team management and strategic discussions.
Qualifications: 10+ years of book design experience with at least 5 years in art direction, plus a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts. Required experience supervising staff and freelance designers, managing complex print production projects, and commissioning illustration.
Location: United States
Compensation: $100K–$120K/yr
