Compensation: $100,000 - $135,000 / year

Riipen is hiring a Senior Program Manager to help us get there. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing and executing a portfolio of large partnership projects in both Canada and the US. The role is a combination of individual contributor responsibilities and may also have a people leadership component.
Outside of direct people management, this role is a leadership role, and is a position that holds influence and offers expertise, is highly visible in the organization and works effectively cross-functionally.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Canada or the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic projects (including but not limited to academic and strategic partnerships) and be accountable for their successful delivery, including but not limited to;
- Supporting customer discovery and platform demos
- Project scoping for optimal use of the Riipen platform and associated services
- Developing and executing on project plans, working within agreed timelines and meeting deliverables
- Managing cross-functional delivery teams
- Product liaison and implementation specialist to ensure feature adoption and product enhancements aligned to program goals as well as internally, knowledge sharing as appropriate;
- Creating actionable insights, and recommendations for program proposals, contracting, and program design;
- Lead the ongoing iteration of project standards at Riipen, raising the bar for what a successful, efficient and effective project looks like;
- Identifying opportunities for partner contract expansion and involving the appropriate Riipen team members to support discussions for program growth and renewal;
- Lead project reporting and impact measurement supporting data collection for our partners, but also ensuring Riipen has impact reporting built into all of our partnerships;
- Ensure all projects have an impact report produced to complete a successful project cycle
- Support funder reporting requirements for projects in the portfolio;
- Support organisational strategic objectives (OKRs) by coordinating multiple projects and broader program-level activities, ensuring alignment and impact of all programming.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in a project or program manager role for technology-based programs or solutions;
- 3+ years experience managing, leading and inspiring teams - either via direct people leadership or cross-functional leadership;
- Impact and revenue mindset; clear orientation to helping partners achieve their goals, demonstrating the quantitative impact of your org’s partnership in achieving those goals, and embracing a growth mindset in pursuing renewed programs or new programs or services with partners;
- Have a data driven spirit; you understand metrics and KPI’s and this motivates you to achieve your goals;
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment where change is necessary for growth and success;
- Possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills;
- Embrace Riipen’s values and model resilience in your leadership style.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with project-based experiential learning in a post-secondary academic or workforce development environment;
- Customer success, sales/account management and/or change management experience in ed tech - specifically higher ed / post-secondary or workforce development;
- Experience with Asana, HubSpot and Intercom.

A note on compensation for the role: the range listed is in USD and CAD for candidates based in either geography, and is inclusive of variable compensation. All compensation is benchmarked internally and externally. Compensation offered is commensurate with experience and aligned with our pay equity practices.
