Role Snapshot
The Director of Software Engineering leads end-to-end digital delivery and reliability across software engineering, DevOps, and UX design at Zaner-Bloser. This role translates business strategy into actionable delivery plans while driving automation, operational efficiency, and high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Translate business strategies into delivery priorities and roadmaps; lead engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure software solutions; manage CI/CD pipelines and platform operations; ensure quality assurance and user experience across digital platforms; leverage automation and AI tools to improve productivity and reduce operational toil.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include experience leading digital delivery organizations, expertise in test automation, strong understanding of modern software development practices, excellent stakeholder communication, and proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years in relevant roles, 7+ years in leadership positions, and experience in customer-facing digital environments; e-commerce or subscription business experience is a plus.
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: $150K–$220K/yr
