Role Snapshot
Associate Software Engineer at OCLC contributes to software development under senior engineer guidance, focusing on writing, debugging, and testing code while learning new technologies. The role supports OCLC's mission to connect libraries and make knowledge accessible worldwide through technology.
Key Responsibilities: Write, debug, and test code while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement features and enhancements. Perform unit testing, code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist in software application development and maintenance.
Skills & Tools: Strong programming skills in one or more languages, basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies, problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Experience with AI integration is valued.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with 0-2 years of relevant software development experience. Must demonstrate strong programming fundamentals and quick learning abilities.
Location: Dublin, Ohio
Compensation: $70Kβ$90K/yr
