Amii seeks a Machine Learning Scientist to lead applied ML projects and mentor junior staff, bridging the gap between cutting-edge ML research and real-world business applications. The role focuses on delivering innovative solutions to industry partners while maintaining scientific excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead client engagements and oversee ML project implementations, providing technical guidance on exploratory data analysis and machine learning modeling. Mentor junior team members through the model-building process, conduct discovery sessions, write technical reports, and nurture client relationships through effective communication.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated leadership experience, subject matter expertise in a specific ML domain, and excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business concepts.
Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of hands-on ML experience. Leadership experience is preferred.

Compensation: CA$90K–CA$140K/yr
