The Digital Marketing Analyst supports Room to Read's digital fundraising efforts by ensuring data accuracy, tracking performance across digital channels, and translating data into actionable insights that improve campaign effectiveness and donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain tracking across website, email, CRM, and marketing platforms; develop dashboards and reports; analyze donor behavior and campaign performance; support digital campaign execution including email and donation pages; and troubleshoot tracking and system issues.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, CRM platforms (Salesforce NPSP), basic HTML/CSS, UTM tracking, dashboard creation, and strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks, work across time zones, and communicate data insights clearly to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, or related role with full professional English proficiency. Experience with tracking tools, CRM systems, and basic understanding of digital marketing channels required; nonprofit or fundraising experience preferred.

Job Description

Position Overview The Digital Marketing Analyst (Fundraising) supports Room to Read’s digital marketing and online fundraising by ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This role focuses on tracking performance across digital channels, maintaining data integrity across platforms, and translating data into clear insights that help improve campaign effectiveness and donor engagement. Working closely with Marketing and Communications, Global Business Operations, and IT, the Analyst plays a key role in strengthening reporting, improving tracking, and supporting data-informed decision-making across digital fundraising activities. Key Responsibilities Tracking, Reporting and Data Integrity (50%) Implement and maintain tracking across website, email, CRM, and marketing platforms Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems by identifying and resolving tracking issues Monitor performance across digital channels and flag trends, anomalies, and gaps Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for internal stakeholders Manage campaign tracking frameworks, including UTM parameters and tagging standards Respond to ongoing reporting and data requests Donor and Campaign Insights (25%) Analyze donor behavior across the lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, and retention Support campaign reviews with clear, data-backed insights and recommendations Partner with internal teams to improve campaign performance through better use of data Contribute to reporting on digital fundraising performance and donor trends Digital Marketing and Systems Support (25%) Support execution of digital campaigns, including email, donation pages, and website updates Make basic updates to tracking and website functionality using HTML/CSS where needed Work with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance Support improvements to data capture, tracking, and overall marketing operations Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, or a similar role Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English Experience using tools like Google Analytics 4 or similar Experience working with a CRM such as Salesforce NPSP or similar Comfortable working with data and creating simple reports or dashboards Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (email, website, social, paid media) Experience with tracking links (UTMs) and campaign tracking Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for website updates is helpful Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to requests quickly Comfortable working with teams across different locations and time zones Preferred Experience in nonprofit or fundraising organizations Experience with dashboard tools (e.g., Looker Studio) Experience with email marketing or donation platforms
