QA Automation Engineer at Noodle, a leading higher education technology partner, responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing infrastructure to ensure quality across products that serve universities globally. This role supports Noodle's mission to empower universities through reliable, efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality across Noodle's platform. Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing requirements, report defects, and improve overall software quality and release processes.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java); experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in QA automation. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality assurance processes.
Location: Remote - Remote, South Africa
Compensation: R480K–R720K/yr (estimated)

  • The position will be located in South Africa and travel may be expected periodically for company/team events and client meetings either in South Africa or the Noodle office in New York.

    This position is based in South Africa. Applicants must be legally authorized to live and work in South Africa and must maintain residency within South Africa throughout their employment. Proof of eligibility and residency will be required upon hiring.
