Senior Full Stack Engineer (NLP) at Noodle, a higher education technology partner, responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack solutions leveraging natural language processing to support university partners in enrollment, student experience, and institutional resilience.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy full-stack NLP-powered applications and infrastructure; collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP capabilities into Noodle's products and services that support universities.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in full-stack development (front-end and back-end), NLP/machine learning frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and software architecture; strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and experience working in remote, distributed teams.
Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in full-stack development and NLP applications; bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Location: Remote - Remote, South Africa
Compensation: R840K–R1.3M/yr (estimated)

  • The position will be located in South Africa and travel may be expected periodically for company/team events and client meetings either in South Africa or the Noodle office in New York.
