Role Snapshot
Senior Product Owner leading 1-2 AI-powered K-8 literacy products for an EdTech startup, responsible for guiding scrum teams to successful delivery while acting as the voice of the product across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Guide product success and lead scrum teams without direct reports, ensuring clarity of priorities, quality delivery, and cross-functional alignment among engineers, QA, and design. Manage backlog, implement Agile processes, and maintain accountability for delivery at startup pace.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years as Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS/EdTech with strong Agile process knowledge and experience with backlog management tools (Jira, Confluence). Must demonstrate leadership by influence, detail-oriented execution, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Education, or equivalent experience required. Preferred experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as partners, educators, or state-level organizations.
Location: United States
Compensation: $125K–$150K/yr
