Role Snapshot
Lead applied machine learning projects and mentor junior team members at Amii while bridging fundamental ML techniques with real-world business opportunities. Serve as a trusted subject matter expert supporting both client success and organizational ML initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead client meetings to advance ML projects, provide technical guidance on exploratory data analysis and modeling, write and review technical reports/code, and mentor junior staff through the model-building process. Support project delivery while developing strong client relationships and incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in machine learning with proficiency in Python and ML frameworks, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Ability to mentor others, facilitate collaboration, and translate complex ML techniques into business value.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning preferred, with 2+ years of relevant ML experience and a publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Demonstrated expertise as a subject matter expert in a specific ML domain.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$90K–CA$130K/yr
