Role Snapshot
Special Assistant to the C-Suite at CommonLit provides executive support to the CEO while managing strategic projects for senior leadership. This role serves as a force multiplier for the nonprofit education technology organization, combining administrative excellence with project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities: Split time between executive assistant duties (50%) including calendar management, meeting preparation, and stakeholder liaison work, and strategic project management (50%) across the C-Suite. Key tasks include preparing briefing materials, managing confidential information, coordinating CEO commitments, and driving organizational initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Strong project management, written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools are required. Must demonstrate proactive problem-solving, strategic thinking, operational excellence, and executive presence with ability to manage competing priorities.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience supporting senior leadership, preferably in nonprofit, education, or technology sectors, with demonstrated project management expertise. Candidates should thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and possess exceptional attention to detail and discretion.
Location: nearly 30 states
Compensation: From $90K/yr
