Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Lectora, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; advanced instructional design capabilities with strategic thinking and exceptional written/verbal communication. Strong project management, attention to detail, and knowledge of adult learning trends required.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer in a corporate setting with proven track record of creating effective training programs. Bachelor's degree required; preferred specializations in Business, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Senior Instructional Designer to join our team. This role is critical in strengthening our partnership with Bank of America (BOA) by designing and deploying top-tier educational programs. By directly engaging with line-of-business subject matter experts, the incumbent will be pivotal in crafting training programs that effectively address project-specific learning objectives.


Position Details

  • Location: Remote, United States
  • Type: Contract Position (1099)
  • Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Compensation: $50 - $55 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Develop highly engaging training materials, leveraging eLearning tools such as Lectora, Storyline, and Captivate.
  • Incorporate graphic design elements using the Adobe Creative Suite to enhance learning materials.

Learning Management Systems

  • Manage and maintain the implementation of processes within the BOA project management ecosystem.

Program Design

  • Design and deliver training programs across various modalities, including ILT, vILT, and blended learning environments, ensuring alignment with sales enablement objectives.

Peer Coaching

  • Provide mentorship to fellow instructional designers on best practices in adult learning techniques and instructional design strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer in a corporate setting.
  • Proven history of creating effective training programs that enhance performance.
  • Bachelor's degree required; specializations in Business, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lectora, Articulate Storyline, and Captivate.
  • Experience with learning management systems and program management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for current trends in instructional design and adult learning.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced instructional design capabilities and strategic thinking.
  • High proficiency in content authoring tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
