Role Snapshot
Join Sourcebooks' Marketing & Sales team as a Summer Intern to assist with real publicity campaigns connecting books with independent booksellers. You'll gain hands-on experience in book publishing while contributing meaningfully to marketing initiatives and author promotion.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with advanced copy mailings, write descriptive copy for titles and marketing materials, create graphics using Canva for newsletters and social media, and support preorder campaigns and author events. You'll also help with trade shows, festivals, and data entry for bookstore accounts.
Skills & Tools: Strong writing skills, creativity, and proficiency with Canva are essential. A passion for books and publishing, combined with curiosity and organizational abilities, will help you succeed in this role.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates are ideal candidates. A cover letter is required and must explain your interest in publishing and Sourcebooks specifically.
Location: Naperville, Illinois
Compensation: $17/hr
