Role Snapshot
Senior Production Manager overseeing reprint orders for Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, managing both 1-color and 4-color book titles while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities: Manage reprint orders including cost assessment, purchase orders, file routing, schedule tracking, proof review, and invoice approval; create margin estimates, analyze vendor bids, and provide support to the Reprint Production team.
Skills & Tools: Strong background in book production with knowledge of 1-color and 4-color processes, color theory, and color correcting; technical proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel with excellent written and verbal communication.
Qualifications: Minimum 7+ years of production experience with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent office/admin experience; knowledge of offset and digital printing processes required.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $75K–$85K/yr
