Role Snapshot
A 12-month paid Machine Learning Residency at TCG Machines focused on developing computer vision and NLP systems for trading card identification and classification. The role offers mentorship from leading AI experts with potential for conversion to full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities: Design and optimize computer vision models for card recognition, curate and structure large-scale datasets, collaborate with cross-functional project teams, and present project progress while engaging in knowledge transfer with the client team.
Skills & Tools: Strong background in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and Python programming; experience with deep learning, image retrieval, OCR techniques, and applied research projects.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Engineering with relevant research and project experience; must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$70K–CA$100K/yr
