Summary

Senior Equity Plan Administrator at Figma responsible for managing and scaling the company's equity incentive programs. This role focuses on daily equity operations, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to support Figma's growing equity administration needs.

Key Responsibilities: Manage equity transactions including stock option exercises and RSU releases, reconcile data between Shareworks and Workday systems, and ensure SOX compliance documentation. Address employee equity inquiries, generate reports for stakeholders, and identify process improvements through collaboration with payroll, HRIS, and legal teams.
Skills & Tools: 4+ years of equity administration experience with proficiency in Excel and G-Suite, strong analytical and reconciliation abilities, and demonstrated expertise in equity tax reporting and withholding. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: 4+ years of equity administration experience ideally at both late-stage private and public companies. Morgan Stanley at Work Shareworks experience and Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation are preferred but not required.
Location: Remote within the United States or at one of Figma's US hubs (San Francisco, CA or New York, NY)
Compensation: $90,000 – $140,000/year

Figma is seeking a talented and experienced Equity Administration professional to join its growing Equity Operations team. This role will report to the Director of Equity Administration and will be an integral team member in facilitating and scaling Figma's equity incentive programs. This role will be focused on managing daily equity plan activity including option exercises and monthly RSU releases, employee equity experience, and data integrity in Shareworks. You will have the opportunity to scale existing processes through collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, People Ops and Legal teams.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Direct and process equity transactions including stock option exercises and monthly RSU releases
  • Manage and reconcile system integrations between Shareworks and Workday to ensure accurate equity, payroll, and demographic data
  • Identify, develop, and document end-to-end equity process improvements 
  • Collaborate with Figma payroll and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely equity transaction reporting 
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation for SOX internal controls
  • Address employee inquiries about equity programs and provide education, ensuring exceptional service 
  • Generate reports for cross-functional partners and handle ad-hoc data requests as needed

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in equity administration, ideally at both late-stage private and public companies
  • Experience with using Excel, G-Suite, reconciliation, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing complex data and transactions
  • Ability to be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of equity tax reporting and withholding for a global workforce

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience with Morgan Stanley at Work Shareworks
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation
  • Understanding of equity tax mobility
