Role Snapshot
Join Sourcebooks as a Summer Intern in Kids/YA Marketing and Publicity to gain hands-on experience in book publishing by working on real publicity campaigns and collaborating with passionate team members to connect books with readers.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with social media creation and scheduling, draft marketing materials including newsletters and press releases, research and pitch titles to influencers and media, help organize book launch events, and contribute ideas for audience engagement.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, and a passion for books are essential; experience with social media, marketing, and project organization is beneficial.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates; a cover letter is required and applications without one will not be considered.
Location: Naperville, Illinois
Compensation: $17/hr
