Summary
Staff Web Designer for Growth Acquisition at Grammarly, responsible for creating impactful design strategies that drive user acquisition and conversion across web platforms. This role influences how millions of users discover and experience Grammarly's AI-powered writing tools.
Key Responsibilities: Develop growth strategies and user-centric designs for websites, landing pages, and top-of-funnel surfaces; conduct A/B testing and iterate based on data insights; design wireframes and prototypes optimized for web and mobile; mentor junior designers; and collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance user acquisition and activation.
Skills & Tools: Strong web and mobile design experience with proficiency in visual and graphic design, interactive web elements, and motion-based design; knowledge of user psychology, conversion optimization, and data-driven design; storytelling abilities for design direction; and passion for AI and productivity tools.
Qualifications: 7+ years of relevant design experience including web and mobile design with demonstrated portfolio of growth-focused work. Knowledge of interactive web capabilities, A/B testing methodologies, and user research synthesis required.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States
Compensation: $250,000 – $305,000/year
