The Clinical Faculty Coordinator supports Mercer University's ABSN program by building and maintaining relationships with clinical partners in Greater Atlanta while coordinating clinical faculty, adjunct instructors, and student clinical experiences. This role bridges the gap between academic nursing education and clinical practice environments.

Key Responsibilities: Identify, select, monitor, and evaluate clinical adjunct faculty and sites; coordinate clinical faculty orientation and training; serve as first point of contact for resolving clinical personnel issues; verify student and faculty compliance; manage clinical attendance and makeups; may have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical courses.
Skills & Tools: Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to build working relationships across educational levels; self-directed and innovative approach; mentoring and leadership capabilities; ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments with diverse adult learners.
Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing and unencumbered Georgia RN license required; minimum two years combined experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or in classroom/lab teaching roles.
Location: In-Person - Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $55K–$75K/yr (estimated)

Academic Partner: Mercer University ABSN program Site Addresses: 3350 Riverwood Parkway SE, Atlanta GA Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Benefits: full benefits portfolio including tuition package for employees and dependents What You Will Do: Work alongside the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites. Work in conjunction with course faculty to establish alignment of clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals. Serve as the first point-of-contact for resolution of clinical personnel issues that may arise between staff at the clinical site and clinical faculty and students. Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding their clinical site and related nursing coursework. Act as a mentor to assist new adjunct faculty in clinical related teaching activities. Verify student and faculty clinical compliance. Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical makeups. May have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course. What You Will Have: Master of Science in Nursing Unencumbered GA RN License Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab Able to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds; Self-directed and innovative; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
