Role Snapshot
VP of Product at Alma Technologies will lead the product organization to define strategy and enhance the company's SaaS platform for K-12 education through data and AI integration. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive role shapes the future of educational technology while building and scaling high-performing product teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor product managers, oversee the entire product portfolio lifecycle, and partner with leadership on long-range goals and roadmaps. Implement scalable product processes, guide ML and analytics capabilities, and ensure compliance with education standards across the organization.
Skills & Tools: 8+ years of progressive product leadership with expertise in data modeling, machine learning projects, and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio). Strong strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities and excellent communication skills required.
Qualifications: 5+ years leading and scaling teams in enterprise software markets with a track record of shipping successful products with measurable outcomes. Background in compliance-heavy industries and K-12 education experience preferred; familiarity with Student Information Systems or Learning Management Systems is a plus.
Location: Portland, Oregon
Compensation: $150K–$250K/yr
