Specialist, Digital Test Administration (1 year term) College Board - GS&T – LATAM Location: This is a fully remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). Type: This is a full-time term position that will last for 1 year from the start date. **A strong candidate has been identified for this role Position Summary The Digital Test Administration Specialist is responsible for the execution of key operational functions that support digital test administration, with a growing focus on administrations delivered through the Surpass platform. These functions include registration, validation, and oversight of the administration process, as well as critical post-administration activities. This role ensures the successful delivery of secure, standardized testing experiences by leveraging digital tools, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting the transition and scaling of digital testing solutions across Puerto Rico and Latin America. About the Team The Test Administration & Registration (TRA) team is part of the Operations Division that executes and supports value chain processes core to the successful delivery of College Board test administration. We strive to ensure all students and testing staff are provided with a flawless testing experience—whether paper-based or digital—and continually assess and remove blockers that may affect this goal. As part of our evolution, we are actively supporting the transition to digital testing ecosystems, including platforms such as Surpass, ensuring readiness across test centers, staff, and systems. We focus on continuous improvement, onboarding and management of testing sites, and equipping coordinators with the tools and knowledge needed to administer assessments with excellence. About the opportunity The Digital Test Administration & Registration Specialist is a team player responsible for planning and coordinating the administration of standardized tests for Puerto Rico and Latin America, with increasing emphasis on digital test delivery through Surpass. This includes managing registrations, schedules, validation processes, preparing administrative and digital materials, supporting platform readiness, and ensuring that testing conditions—both physical and digital—are conducive to fairness, security, and validity. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with policies, successful adoption of digital tools, and seamless execution of test administrations. In this role, you will: Task Management and Strategy: (40%) Manage and track value chain processes for test administrations across Puerto Rico and Latin America, including digital administrations via Surpass. Develop, maintain, and execute the annual calendar of test delivery activities. Support test setup, configuration, and readiness within the Surpass platform, including candidate registration workflows and test session preparation. Identify and secure test locations, equipment, and digital infrastructure (devices, connectivity, system readiness) to support both paper and digital administrations. Develop, review, and maintain updated administrative documentation, including digital testing guidelines and platform instructions. Communicate and support internal teams and external institutions to ensure compliance with test administration regulations and digital protocols. Coordinate with test-takers, proctors, and staff to ensure adherence to both in-person and digital administration procedures. Identify and resolve operational and technical issues that may arise during test administration. Oversight and Quality: (40%) Monitor and ensure completion of tasks as established in the test administration calendar. Maintain accurate records and data related to test administrations. Ensure that all test administration procedures are followed correctly and that test materials are prepared and distributed accurately. Process invoices related to test administration. Coordinate students’ accommodations requests, once approved, with the test centers. Prepare and assist the unit team with periodic reports. Perform the test administration simulations or exercises as needed and manage results. Support the organization: (20%) Answer calls and email inquiries from candidates, clients, or individuals. Supports various hierarchical levels within the organization with the purpose of giving and receiving information. Controversial issues are referred to the supervisor. Major stakeholders: Test Coordinators, Representatives, and center support team School Directors, Counselors, public and private school administrators and Students College Board Program Teams Test Center representatives Perform any other duties or tasks assigned or required. About you You have: Ability to work under pressure and moderate degree of supervision. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Interest and/or experience in digital platforms, system-based operations, or test delivery technologies (e.g., Surpass or similar systems). Strong desire to understand and advocate for highest levels of customer engagement, satisfaction, and experience. Excellent communication skills, including attentive listening; clear, concise, and confident speaking manner; effective writing, negotiating, and meeting facilitation skills. Proven experience in document control and organization. Experience in budget management. Possess the ability to prioritize work, identify the importance of work tasks, and manage them effectively. Flexibility and willingness to try new approaches or solutions, take risks and grow emerging tools and processes. Willingness to fully understand College Board products and actively participate in the growth of those products over time. Positive, adaptive, and collaborative mindset, willing and able to solve problems with energy and innovation. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed. English and Spanish proficient. Competent in computer systems and full knowledge of Microsoft Office. Bachelor's degree, Business Administration, Education or related field preferred. Three to four years of experience performing administrative duties.
