Summary
Grammarly seeks a Senior Accessibility SME to lead product accessibility initiatives, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with WCAG standards while advocating for inclusive design across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive accessibility audits using automated and manual testing techniques, write detailed Accessibility Conformance Reports, and partner with design and engineering teams to implement accessible solutions and integrate accessibility into development workflows.
Skills & Tools: Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, proficiency with assistive technologies and automated testing tools, strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for accessibility, and excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse teams.
Qualifications: 5+ years of digital accessibility experience with web and/or desktop applications, deep knowledge of WCAG standards, and proven ability to create and maintain accessible designs across complex user interactions.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States
Compensation: $220,000 – $280,000/year
