Role Snapshot
The Sr Outsourcing Specialist at Ascend Learning manages vendor relationships and oversees content development processes for healthcare education products, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and deadlines. This role serves as a bridge between internal product and content teams and external vendor partners to deliver high-quality educational content.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with content leadership to develop and execute outsourcing strategies, manage vendor sourcing and evaluation, track contracts and budgets, and ensure authors and vendors meet performance expectations. Lead performance discussions with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolve content direction issues, and prepare performance reports for business reviews.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with financial acumen and experience managing external vendor relationships. Knowledge of content development processes, best practices for external partnerships, and ability to communicate transparently across multiple teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required. 6+ years of experience in editorial, content strategy, or similar roles working with authors, subject matter experts, and vendors on content delivery.
Location: Kansas
Compensation: $85K–$115K/yr
