Role Snapshot
The Senior Technology and Training Specialist serves as the technical liaison for NWEA's Scoring Operations Team, responsible for managing technology requests, developing training content, and ensuring technology readiness for educational assessment scoring processes.
Key Responsibilities: Manages technology requests and scorer databases, develops training documentation and instructional materials, designs and delivers strategic training programs, and conducts needs analysis to ensure training effectiveness. Serves as a subject matter expert on scoring operations technology and provides strategic consulting on technical readiness, ranging, and scoring implementation.
Skills & Tools: Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint data management, and strong organizational and communication abilities. Preferred skills include knowledge of K–12 assessment standards and basic coding abilities.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include five years of experience in scoring roles and knowledge of K–12 assessment standards. Educational background in instructional design, technical writing, or related field is beneficial.
Location: United States
Compensation: $75K–$83K/yr
