This Role…
Are you a recent college graduate with sales internship or entry-level sales experience? If so, we are looking for go-getters that work well in a team environment and want to work for an organization that rewards hard work with attractive financial incentives. This position gives you the opportunity to learn from senior sales professionals and be part of a forward-thinking and innovative organization.
As an Associate Account Executive at ATD, report to our Sales Manager and support the broader Enterprise Solutions department. The Associate Account Executive will build core skills in sales and work for a mission-driven association that impacts leading organizations across the globe. You will be responsible for providing sales support for public education courses, small group memberships, and help develop leads for senior account executives.
Specifically, in this role you will:
Learn how to ask the right consultative questions to understand which training courses and if certification attainment would support clients with their career goals.
Have the ability to work with senior sales executives to understand a proven sales process including developing new prospects and managing existing accounts with a high level of customer service.
Gain knowledge and understanding on how to effectively present the value of ATD’s education courses and professional certification options to current members and new clients.
About you…
A Bachelor’s degree preferred (all majors welcome) or relevant work experience
1 – 2 year’s work or internship experience in education sales is a plus
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills- including strong phone presence
Positive attitude with a willingness to help team members and provide excellent customer service to clients
Salesforce CRM experience is helpful
Learn how to build and maintain sales pipelines and attain course enrollment goals
Understand how to work well within a highly motivated, client-focused team environment

We are a collaborative team of 17 that are responsible for selling ATD Resources to corporate and government organizations.
Our goal is to understand the strategic needs of our clients through a consultative approach so that we recommend the most impactful solutions for our clients.

The Association for Talent Development is a hybrid organization headquartered in Alexandria, VA. *Please note this is a Hybrid position. In-office time is Required.*
