POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Digital Experience is responsible for providing technical knowledge and project management for digital projects within the Experience Division. This role collaborates with a variety of stakeholders to execute team, division, and organizational goals within digital projects, tracks trends in user interfaces, systematizes processes to allow space for new initiatives and development and researches and recommends new technologies that enhance attendee experiences.
Salary: $65-70k
Location Preference:
While this position is open to all qualified candidates, preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) areas, due to the proximity to our office and the need for occasional in-person collaboration.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES
Project management
- Leads event website creation and design while working closely with marketing, graphic designer, and web hosting contractor.
- Creates, communicates and maintains event website timeline in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
- Monitors website analytics to recommend changes for increased conversions and customer experience
- Oversees day to day review of event websites, forms, and communications
- Manages digital implementation of Call for Participation, Registration, and other web form projects
- Directs conference app sourcing and leads internal and external app building team
Digital Leadership
- Advocates for and develops process efficiencies inter- and intra-division
- Researches and recommends technologies that increase attendee satisfaction, for both revenue and engagement
- Facilitates system integration meetings between internal and external stakeholders
- Delivers projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
- Collaborates on user experience testing and feedback for continuous refinement and improvement
- Monitors event database for irregularities or issues and coordinates remedies with contractor
Divisional Support
- Establishes a posting timeline on the community platform Connect to highlight event milestones and information
- Assists with various virtual special projects such as webinars, community events and virtual conference content
- Supports virtual platform creation, innovation and onsite monitoring
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and three-five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience
- 2 years’ experience in website development and/or management
- Experience working or knowledge of events is desired
- Graphic and/or marketing experience
- Experience using the following technology:
- Zoom (or other similar video conferencing systems)
- Asana
- Microsoft Office
- Google Suite
- Salesforce
- Slack
