Role Snapshot
Full-time AmeriCorps member providing individualized literacy intervention and support to students in Dallas, TX, with a commitment to empowering young readers to achieve grade-level reading proficiency by fourth grade.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver reading intervention and literacy support to students in an in-person role, averaging 8 hours per day from October/November 2025 to June 2026, totaling 1200+ service hours across Monday-Friday schedules (8:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, proficiency with technology systems (Salesforce, Google Apps, Zoom), and capacity to work both collaboratively in teams and independently.
Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and hold US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status; prior experience with community-based or education programs is a plus.
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: From $19K/yr
