Department: The Patterson School offers the Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation, Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics, Master of Taxation and Data Analytics, and Ph.D. in Accountancy. All degree programs are accredited by the AACSB. Our programs have been consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally for many years. The School is administered by the Dean of the School of Accountancy, who reports directly to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. The University of Mississippi houses the National Library of the Accounting Profession (former AICPA Library). Job Summary: Performs IT services with responsibilities that range from providing support and maintenance for both physical and wireless network infrastructure, including peripheral devices (such as computer desktops, projectors, copiers, and printers), all the way to managing the technical side of an organization's web content platform. This position may manage a team of IT associates.
Job Description: Provides routine assessment of department computer systems and software to ensure that all department functionality requirements and campus security standards are being met. Provides technical support to departmental staff for any computer hardware or software issues. Installs, updates and troubleshoots departmental software and hardware, as needed. Anticipates replacing or updating departmental computer hardware and software, including developing cost analysis and budgets to meet future needs. Serves as a technology liaison for the department with campus IT.
Job Responsibilities: Oversees the asset audit for the school Add users to copies, network, monitors, etc. Responsible for technology orders Oversees the School’s laptop rental program Supervise and train student workers that report directly to IT associate Maintain and monitor security camera system Serve as help desk for faculty, staff and students

Compensation: $62,441.60 - $93,641.60 Interview
