We ship a lot of code and new features in fast iterations and thus we're looking for a self starter who can learn the software testing craft quickly and then own quality for their respective team.
We are looking for a recent college or boot camp grad ("recent" = previous 12 months) to join our team and learn the challenging and rewarding career of software testing. Although we are a remote company, our requirement for this role is someone who is based in the Austin, TX area and has the flexibility to come to our downtown office at least 3 times per week.

This role will need to work standard US hours, and will need to come into the office in downtown Austin, TX at least 3 days er week.
Your role:
- You'll be the QA Engineer on a team whose main goal is to deliver an exciting product that our customers love
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the product we deliver is of the highest quality
- Planning, documenting, and executing test procedures for new features, bug fixes, and improvements
- This will be mainly manual testing, but could expand to automated testing as well
- Documenting clear and concise bug write ups so developers understand them the first time
- Root cause analysis and investigation of bugs
- Identifying and championing process improvements that will help us increase quality and speed
- Recent college degree or completion of a coding boot camp or other similar program completion
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and document complex business logic - your challenge will be to learn new concepts and application features from our planning meetings and documentation and then apply them to your testing process
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Solid organizational skills and time management skills
- An eye for design details and polish (the quality of our site is key to our business identity)

Interview/Hiring Process
- Selected candidates will be asked to submit a one way video interview through our hiring portal. This will be a series of questions that you will record yourself answering.
- You will also be sent a few hiring challenges where you will have an opportunity to show us the type of work and attention to detail you are capable of
