As a BrightBee School Program Leader, you'll lead before and after school groups at San Ramon Unified School District elementary schools, supporting student learning and growth through structured curriculum activities. This role offers flexible work with meaningful community impact, serving students in a structured, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead daily curriculum activities in World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts; prioritize child safety, maintain clean and organized spaces, and create an inclusive environment. Build strong relationships with students, families, teammates, and school staff while supporting overall student success.
Skills & Tools: Patient, reliable, and positive demeanor with strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with children in a structured environment; commitment to child safety and procedural compliance; flexibility and willingness to adapt to different assignment types.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; CPR and First Aid certification needed; ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 30 lbs); no prior experience necessary as training is provided. Must pass background check, livescan, and complete mandated reporter training.
Location: In-Person - San Ramon
Compensation: $42K–$58K/yr (estimated)

As a BrightBee Before and After School Group Leader, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. We are currently partnered San Ramon Unified School District. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is.

Rancho Romero Elementary School 
Monday- Friday (noon-6:30pm)

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
Make child safety the top priority at all times
Keep the space clean and organized
Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

✅ Basic Requirements
HS Diploma/GED
Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting
CPR and First Aid certification

🔐 Before You Start
To keep students safe, you’ll need to:
Pass a background check
Follow safety and reporting guidelines
Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position.  Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for instructional roles is between $203-$218.
