Role Snapshot
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position with Kaleidoscope Education Solutions assessing and treating speech and language disorders in school settings in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on improving communication skills and academic success for students with communication needs.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat communication disorders, provide therapy services, develop and implement IEP goals, and consult with teachers and parents on student progress and strategies. Maintain records and documentation for evaluations and services provided.
Skills & Tools: Understanding of speech and language disorders, IEP goal development, and ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff. Strong relationship-building and documentation skills required.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Illinois PEL with SLP endorsement, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification required. Position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role.
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Compensation: $50K–$80K/yr
