Summary
Arapahoe Community College seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making in the Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support. The role is pivotal in providing critical data analysis and insights that drive strategic planning and inform decisions to improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Collect, extract, and analyze data related to academic performance, student demographics, and support services to prepare reports and dashboards for leadership. Compile institutional data for external reporting, develop survey tools, and provide actionable data insights through training and professional engagement.
Skills & Tools: Advanced expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Skilled in programming languages (Python, Java, C#, SAS, R, SPSS), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and strong analytical and communication abilities across technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred with at least two years of relevant experience, particularly in higher education contexts. Demonstrated ability to design and build data-driven applications and interactive visualizations.
Location: Hybrid in Littleton, Colorado, USA with occasional travel required
Compensation: $69,850/year
