Summary
Benefits and Payroll Specialist role at Instructional Empowerment managing HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes. This position supports a mission-driven organization focused on eradicating generational poverty through education.
Key Responsibilities: Manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, accurately process payroll while ensuring tax compliance, facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding procedures, and maintain personnel records in compliance with regulations. Support employee inquiries, audits, and collaborate with managers across the organization.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong customer service and cross-team collaboration abilities. Preferred experience with payroll platforms such as UKG, BambooHR, or WorkDay.
Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 2–5 years of HR operations experience. PHR or SHRM certification is preferred.
Location: Blairsville, Pennsylvania
Compensation: $50K–$55K/yr
