About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail oriented and experienced Data Conversion Specialist to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data migration, conversion, and integration, and will be responsible for overseeing the successful transfer of data from legacy systems to LINQ’s ERP platform. This role requires exceptional technical expertise and project management skills.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Data Conversion Leadership: Lead and manage data conversion projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and post-conversion support. Ensure that all data is accurately migrated and validated according to project requirements.
• Project Management: Develop and execute data conversion strategies, including timelines, and risk management. Track project progress, manage deadlines, and report on status to stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes. Utilize various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and methodologies to facilitate data migration.
• Data Quality Assurance: Perform thorough data validation and testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of converted data. Address and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Development, Product, Implementation Consultants, and support teams, to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Clearly communicate ideas, solutions and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of data conversion processes, methodologies, and issues encountered. Develop and update technical documentation as needed.
• Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance data conversion efficiency and effectiveness.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve data-related issues, including data migration errors and system integration challenges. Provide support during the post-conversion phase.
What We Are Looking For:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data conversion, data migration, or data management roles.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in data conversion tools, ETL processes, SQL, and database management systems. Experience with data mapping, transformation, and integration techniques.
• Project Management: Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets and identify patterns or issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
