About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter to help grow the ClassWallet business. As an Account Executive (AE) you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, particularly with new clients accounts. The AE will own a sales strategy and quota attainment in their given sales territory, as well as identify opportunities, prospect and engage with new clients, develop proposals, and manage the sales process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with sales development and solutions consulting resources while executing their sales plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Prospect and develop new client relationships within a defined territory
- Consult with clients to build references and upsell opportunities
- Deliver presentations including: discovery calls, demos, lunch & learns, thought leadership discussions, conference presentations, and webinars
- Contribute to the development of the sales team’s processes and skill development
- Maintain accurate CRM, including opportunity stages, account activity, and other key components
- Execute needed sales activity to achieve and exceed sales targets
- 2 years in a sales capacity
- Experience reaching and exceeding quota
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong online and in-person presentation skills
- Superior business, sales process management, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with industry associations and influential contacts
- Ability to use CRM and sales automation and tools to streamline efforts
- Willingness to travel (estimated 40%)
- Existing industry experience preferred
