Summary

Senior Accounting and Financial Data Analyst at Huddle Up, a pediatric teletherapy leader, responsible for accounting operations, financial reporting, and data-driven analysis to support strategic business decisions in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct day-to-day accounting activities, manage month-end close processes, reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare financial statements and reports, develop financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and analyze data across systems to uncover insights for business units.
Skills & Tools: Strong GAAP knowledge with CPA preferred; advanced Excel modeling proficiency; SQL/Python experience a plus; exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; technical aptitude for financial systems and automation; strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable narratives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience); minimum 3+ years of accounting, financial planning and analysis, or data analytics experience.

What You’ll Do: 

As a Senior Accounting and Financial Data Analyst at Huddle Up, you'll engage in diverse responsibilities from accounting and financial reporting to data analytics and strategic planning. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence business decisions and drive process efficiencies, making a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct day-to-day accounting activities and oversee month-end close processes, adhering to accounting standards and internal controls. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and general ledger accounts with precision. Prepare comprehensive financial statements and internal/external financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support the company's strategic initiatives and decision-making processes. Support the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Analyze large data across disparate systems and teams to perform financial and operational analyses. Work cross-functionally to understand business drivers and uncover insights to support strategic decision-making across business units.
  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Prepare and present regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership. 
  • Assess opportunities for continual improvement across finance and accounting processes through the use of automation, technology, and artificial intelligence. Drive efficiencies in the monthly close and financial reporting processes.

Who You Are:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP; CPA is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling; SQL/Python experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a technical aptitude for financial systems development, reporting, and automation
  • Takes ownership of initiatives with little direction and drives them to completion

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, or data analytics

The on target earnings for this role is between $90,000 - $115,000 base salary. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience and other qualifications.
