Summary of Position:
We’re seeking an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team, focusing on maximizing ROI across paid social media, affiliate marketing, and other emerging digital advertising channels. This role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies that drive traffic, acquisition, and conversion for our direct-to-consumer business.
Major Responsibilities:
Paid Social Media Campaign Management:
- Develop, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
- Collaborate on creative strategies to test new ad formats, messaging, and targeting techniques.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance, adjusting strategy based on KPIs such as CPC, ROAS, and LTV.
Affiliate Marketing Management:
- Build and manage affiliate marketing programs, focusing on growth in sales and brand reach.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture partnerships with affiliates and influencers, mostly through a 3rd party platform.
- Negotiate terms with publishers to align with performance targets and maximize campaign profitability.
- Ensure accurate technical set-up and tracking to facilitate timely payment to publishers.
Cross-Channel Strategy and Optimization:
- Work across channels (display, retargeting, email) to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent brand experience.
- Conduct A/B tests to identify winning strategies and optimize spend allocation based on performance data.
- Collaborate with analytics to create dashboards and tracking mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of all performance marketing channels.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare regular performance reports, offering insights and recommendations for scaling successful initiatives.
- Perform ongoing analysis to maximize key metrics, using insights to optimize campaigns and improve customer acquisition costs.
- Analyze user behaviors and trends to inform strategy and improve future campaigns.
- Act as a subject matter expert in SEO and SEM, staying updated on the latest best practices and trends in organic search engine optimization and paid advertising.
Other:
- Communicate and apply company-wide strategy, initiatives, and programs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams as needed.
- Undertake other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and readiness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Proven expertise in managing performance marketing campaigns, with a track record of driving successful outcomes and conversions.
- Agency or industry experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Eye for design and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, confident, and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A driven self-starter with a desire to meet and exceed goals.
- Ability to manage your own time and work remotely while effectively collaborating with a geographically dispersed team.
- An ethic of personal responsibility; holding yourself accountable on behalf of your team.
Salary: $68,000 - $82,000 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
