Role Snapshot

Remote Learning and Development Specialist responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs for a leading healthcare organization. This role focuses on creating impactful learning experiences that drive team growth and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop training materials, conduct needs assessments, and facilitate virtual training sessions while managing training programs from planning through delivery. Provide coaching and support to learners, coordinate onboarding efforts, and maintain training schedules and reporting dashboards.
Skills & Tools: Strong instructional design and training development expertise with excellent virtual facilitation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices.
Qualifications: Experience in instructional design and training development with strong facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning principles. Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or related field preferred; healthcare industry experience is a plus.
Location: In-Person - Englewood, CO
Compensation: $23–$31/hr

Job Description

Learning & Development Specialist (Remote)

We’re partnering with a leading healthcare organization to bring on a Learning and Development Specialist who’s passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and driving impactful training programs.

This is a fully remote opportunity where you’ll play a key role in shaping how teams learn, grow, and succeed.


What You’ll Do

Design & Develop Training

  • Create engaging training materials, facilitator guides, and learning content
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend effective learning strategies
  • Apply adult learning principles to build impactful training programs

Facilitate & Deliver Training

  • Lead virtual training sessions using a variety of learning methods
  • Foster an engaging, collaborative learning environment
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to learners and fellow trainers

Manage Training Programs

  • Coordinate and execute training initiatives from planning to delivery
  • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align priorities
  • Track progress, analyze learning data, and recommend improvements

Support Onboarding & Coordination

  • Assist with onboarding efforts for new team members and trainers
  • Maintain training schedules, reporting dashboards, and curriculum plans
  • Ensure training programs run smoothly and efficiently

What You Bring

  • Experience in instructional design and training development
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage virtual audiences
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Englewood, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $31.00/hr.
