SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Finalsite is seeking an accomplished Director of Product for our Content Management System (CMS) division and Enrollment Management System (EMS) divisions, with a strategic focus on driving the integration of these lines to showcase the power of the Finalsite product suite. In this pivotal leadership role, you will not only guide the strategic development and management of the CMS and EMS product line but also play a crucial role in harmonizing these with other Finalsite product lines, such as Comms, Mobile Apps and Finalsite Intelligence (AI Platform), to deliver a cohesive, powerful suite of integrated solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Vision and Leadership: Work with your teams to develop and articulate a future-focused vision and strategy for Finalsite's CMS and EMS, ensuring it aligns with the company's broad strategic objectives and responds to the evolving demands of the educational sector.
Product Line Expansion: Drive the expansion of the CMS and EMS product line, strategically entering new market segments and enhancing our Total Addressable Market (TAM).
Advanced Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of product, managers, and owners, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Deep Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strong, collaborative relationships with diverse internal teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and support, and notably with customer-facing product divisions.
Market Insight and Innovation: Maintain a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts. Spearhead partnerships, value-driven component creation, and explore M&A opportunities with the executive team to enhance product offerings and market position.
Comprehensive Product Lifecycle Oversight: Ensure meticulous management of the entire product lifecycle, delivering high-quality, market-responsive CMS and EMS solutions on time and within scope.
Data-Driven Leadership: Guide product and organizational strategy with a data-driven approach, setting benchmarks and illuminating pathways for product cohorts.
Elevated Cross-Functional Collaboration: Champion and enhance collaboration across product, development, marketing, sales, and support teams, ensuring a unified, strategic approach to product development and delivery.
Enhanced User Experience: Guarantee that CMS and EMS products are not only user-friendly but also seamlessly integrate into the suite experience of Finalsite, ensuring a cohesive user journey.
Feedback and Documentation Excellence: Cultivate a robust feedback loop with clients, leveraging insights to validate and inform product enhancements. Craft and maintain comprehensive product documentation including APIs, user guides, and release notes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
A solid 12+ years in the realm of product management, with at least 3 in a director role on Platform for a SaaS product.
Bachelor's in a pertinent domain; an MBA or equivalent experience is looked upon favorably.
Prior experience leading data, billing, or finance-based product teams, with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale solutions.
Deep understanding of technology infrastructures, software development intricacies, and a strategic outlook to drive innovation in product development.
Stellar communication skills to foster understanding and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Comprehensive grasp of technology infrastructures, software development nuances, and a keen understanding of the SaaS ecosystem.
Understanding of payments, billing, and related systems, ensuring the seamless integration of secure and user-friendly financial transactions within the EMS and expand into payments within CMS in the future.
In-depth knowledge of data storage, security, and privacy requirements and regulations, ensuring CMS and EMS upholds the highest standards of data integrity and compliance.
Proficient in leveraging data to make strategic decisions and guide product direction.
A forward-thinker with the verve to push boundaries, champion innovation, and explore new possibilities in product development.
An inherent zeal for education and an alignment with Finalsite's core ethos.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Excellent digital collaboration skills, being able to work across multiple geographic regions and time zones using various internet-based tools.
