Summary
Engineering Manager for Coursera's Home Team, leading a full-stack engineering team to develop and enhance the user experience for millions of learners, focusing on retention and engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, drive alignment with business goals, oversee product development initiatives, and provide technical leadership and architectural guidance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, innovative solutions for discovery, personalization, and goal progression features.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in software engineering principles, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, experience with scalable systems, and familiarity with modern frontend and backend technologies. Experience with generative AI applications is preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years in software product development. Minimum 2 years of engineering management experience.
Location: United States
Compensation: $140K–$210K/yr
