Lucid is seeking an Event Manager to join a team of world-class event professionals to help manage their marketing events program. Lucid’s annual marketing events program consists of trade shows, regional customer events, Company Kickoff, Sales Kickoff (known as RevX), field marketing events, and consultation on other internal ad-hoc events as needed. We’re looking for an Event Manager who can work with the existing team to help coordinate events, manage inventory and maintain global calendars.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Execution & Teamwork
- Execute on tradeshows, field marketing events and customer events inclusive of in-person, hybrid and virtual formats ranging from 5 to 2,000+ attendees.
- Execute and collaborate as a strong member of a world-class events team where standard processes, teamwork and individual ownership are core tenets
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Foster strong partnerships across both sales and customer service teams to identify opportunities for field marketing events and take ownership of their successful execution from start to finish
- Collaborate closely with other marketing teams to ensure all event-related campaigns and materials are aligned with larger marketing campaigns and messages
Operational Excellence
- Demonstrate operational excellence including, but is not limited to: vendor and contract negotiation, swag production and inventory management, global shipping, and onsite event support and execution.
- Travel regionally to execute events and provide on-site leadership
- Maintain accurate and detailed event budgets, ensuring absolute fiscal responsibility and transparency.
- Adhere to and innovate on post-event follow-up processes, including lead routing and engagement strategies, to maximize the long-term value of each event.
- Conduct comprehensive post-event analyses, including ROI reporting and key performance metrics
- Ability to thrive in high pressure environments and a high aptitude for details and organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years event experience (specifically tradeshow based for at least 4 years)
- Willing to travel domestically 20-30% of the year
- Raleigh-based candidate with Lucid’s Hybrid Work Policy (will need to be in-office to manage shipping, swag and other event inventory)
- Experience working on a large scale (1,500+) events or user conferences
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Unusually high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to make events successful. You don’t make excuses for poor execution and don’t accept them from others.
