Impact Consultant / Sales Account Manager
LifeLabs Learning is seeking an experienced Impact Consultant / Sales Account Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for growing client relationships and supporting existing clients in selecting, maintaining, and rebooking programs that transform their workplace into a practice lab for life’s most useful skills.
*While this is a remote position, preferences will be given to candidates located in: New York, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle
What You’ll Do:
Create impact & inspire client love:
- Understand each client’s needs, goals, obstacles, org culture, and org structure.
- Build and maintain trusting client relationships by demonstrating understanding and adding value.
- Propose thoughtful, simple solutions to their needs that lead to additional bookings.
- Consult clients on how to improve the effectiveness of their programs (e.g., participant satisfaction, attendance, learning retention, and impact on organizational goals).
- Follow up to check on program success and to discuss future needs.
- Show up to all calls and meetings on time and send follow-up materials when promised.
- Collect relevant data and maintain data integrity across your client portfolio to power the best client and business decisions.
- Review your Hubspot metrics to keep learning and growing
Communicate with clients & the team:
- Respond to client inquiries over email within 24 hours of inquiry. Respond to all subsequent emails within 48 hours (or earlier if requested).
- Send all necessary materials on time and accurately (e.g., workshop descriptions, Program Plan).
- Coordinate workshop scheduling (e.g., introduce Client Support).
- Lead Customization Calls, Onboarding/Kickoff Calls, Impact Calls, and rebooking calls as needed.
- Success Metrics:
- Be able to articulate the goal and outcome of each client’s program.
- For any inactive client, be able to answer the question: “why isn’t this client rebooking at this time?”
- Achieve or exceed sales targets for rebooking clients and a rebooking rate of 60%. Some variability is outside of your control, so we track these numbers with a focus on learning as well as performance.
- Engage in activities to create new opportunities to maintain a pipeline coverage ratio of 2.0x for the next month.
- Passing score on each internal observation.
- Data in Hubspot is properly entered and maintained across a client portfolio
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years client-facing rebooking sales experience and/or sales account management experience, preferably selling in Edtech, HR, L&D, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Knowledge of consulting techniques (e.g., asking open questions, framing a conversation)
- Strong written communication skills (particularly the ability to write clear and playful emails)
- Openness to feedback, driving your own growth (with manager support), and an ability to self-manage
- Time management and organization skills
- Bonus: experience working in the tech industry
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel for attending client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

- Starting Salary: $80K starting base salary
- Compensation: salary + Success Share (bonus) + sales incentive plan
- Our compensation system is transparent and consistently applied throughout the company. As you take on new responsibilities, you can expect a yearly compensation increase, so long as you are meeting the role expectations #AlwaysBeLearning!
- Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our quarterly Success Share program which is a 10% bonus on your eligible earnings when we hit our quarterly revenue target.
- You will also be part of a sales incentive plan.
- Long-Term Incentive Plan: As part of your compensation package, you will be eligible to participate in the company's Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). Your equity grant will be commensurate with the ‘Specialist’ band of this role.
