Alma Technologies seeks a State Reporting and Compliance Manager to lead K-12 data compliance efforts and manage a small team in a mission-driven environment. This hybrid Portland Metro-based role focuses on state reporting requirements, data quality, and building scalable compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret state compliance documentation, maintain data dictionaries, lead end-to-end reporting cycles, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate K-12 data reporting. Manage a small compliance team, develop processes and tools, host support office hours, and drive alignment on timelines and reporting deadlines.
Skills & Tools: Deep expertise in K-12 state compliance reporting, strong organizational and communication abilities, familiarity with SIS platforms and data query methods, and proficiency with spreadsheets and office software. Experience with AI tools for data analysis and knowledge of educational data standards are preferred.
Qualifications: Proven experience leading small teams with deep expertise in state and federal K-12 compliance reporting (CA/CALPADS, PA/PIMS, IL/ISBE, OH/EMIS, or similar systems preferred). Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills.
Location: Portland Metro Area, Oregon
Compensation: $75K–$110K/yr
