Role Snapshot
Join Reading Partners as a full-time AmeriCorps Member in Tulsa, OK to provide individualized literacy support for students in grades K-4 from November 2025 to June 2026. This service position empowers young readers to achieve grade-level reading proficiency through community engagement and educational intervention.
Key Responsibilities: Support literacy intervention for students and commit to completing 1200+ hours of service through direct instruction and mentoring during a 9-month term. Participate in intensive training and ongoing professional development while working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and willingness to learn technology systems such as Salesforce, Google Apps, and Zoom. Ability to collaborate in team environments and work independently.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status, and minimum age of 18 years old. Previous experience volunteering with community-based or education programs is a plus.

Compensation: From $18K/yr
