Role Snapshot
Provide one-on-one in-home tutoring to students with special needs, particularly those with Prader-Willi Syndrome, delivering personalized instruction aligned with IEP goals in early literacy and foundational math.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction in early literacy, writing, and foundational math while supporting IEP-aligned goals through interactive, hands-on lessons. Adapt pacing and teaching strategies to meet students' emotional and cognitive needs while maintaining engagement through multisensory approaches.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in special education instruction, early literacy and math instruction, ability to create engaging multisensory lessons, and excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and students.
Qualifications: Preferred background in special education or early childhood education with experience working with students with special needs, ideally Prader-Willi Syndrome or developmental delays.
Location: Pacifica, California
Compensation: $25–$35/hr
