Role Snapshot

The Dean of Culture at KIPP Public Schools Northern California leads the development and implementation of school culture initiatives that foster positive learning environments and support academic achievement. This role is critical to creating conditions where students thrive academically and personally while embodying the school's core values.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers, students, families, and staff to develop and implement programs that promote school values (Excellence, Belonging, Determination, Integrity) and foster a positive school culture. Support the creation of healthy school climates that facilitate effective teaching and learning while addressing cultural and behavioral needs.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders; expertise in school culture development, student engagement, and behavior management. Excellent communication and program implementation capabilities with cultural competency and commitment to equity.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; typically 3-5 years of experience in education, school leadership, student affairs, or related field. Demonstrated success developing and implementing school culture programs and/or initiatives.
Location: In-Person - Stockton, CA
Compensation: $75K–$105K/yr (estimated)

A school’s culture is constantly in play, either facilitating or obstructing learning. 

The Content Specialist of Culture is responsible for fostering a positive school culture that supports academic achievement and personal growth for all students. This teammate will collaborate with teachers, students, families and staff to develop and implement programs and initiatives that promote the school’s values of Excellence, Belonging, Determination and Integrity.
