About the Job

The Demand Gen Marketing Specialist is a mid-level, individual contributor role on the Marketing and Communications team, reporting directly to the Director, Marketing and Communications. This position is central to driving pipeline growth across Aeries’ suite of solutions including Aeries Student Information System, JumpRope, and ActivityHero. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented marketing professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a builder’s mindset to every campaign. You will work cross-functionally to develop and execute multi-channel demand generation programs that fuel the sales funnel and accelerate revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns across email, paid digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google Ads), social media, web, and video to generate and nurture marketing qualified leads.
  • Support content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking for digital and print marketing efforts, including blogs, webinars, case studies, social posts, and website copy.
  • Build and manage advanced email campaigns, sequences, and automations in HubSpot, utilizing A/B testing strategies to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion outcomes.
  • Support maintenance of website content in WordPress, applying SEO best practices and collaborating with the team to ensure pages reflect current messaging and drive inbound traffic.
  • Support the production of webinars, including topic ideation, campaigns, speaker prep, and post-event follow-up nurture sequences.
  • Support the Director of Sales and Manager of RevOps to align marketing activity with pipeline goals, track marketing qualified leads, and support sales enablement initiatives.
  • Support the Director, Product Marketing with competitor analyses to identify market opportunities and inform messaging, positioning, and campaign differentiation.
  • Develop copy for print and digital marketing materials with strong attention to brand consistency, accuracy, and detail, leveraging AI tools, Figma, and project management software as needed.
  • Support the development of strategic marketing plans, including branding, advertising, public relations, and direct marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization, including Product Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Events, to support integrated marketing initiatives and company goals.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing. EdTech experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue
  • Strong creative writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences, channels, and formats
  • Deep understanding of the marketing funnel, MQL definitions, and lead lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to work in close alignment with Sales to convert pipeline to revenue
  • Self-starter with a collaborative spirit: you take initiative, manage your own priorities, and communicate proactively with your Director and teammates to keep projects moving
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all deliverables, from campaign copy to analytics reporting
  • Motivated by and aligned to company values; you bring your whole self to work and care Aeries’ mission and vision of advancing student success
  • Experience with HubSpot (required); experience with Salesforce, Google Ads, and SEO best practices, and AI tools is highly desired; familiarity with WordPress and Figma are a plus
  • HubSpot Marketing Certification or Google Analytics certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)

Status

  • Full-time
  • Salaried, exempt

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday. Typical hours align with 8am – 5pm Pacific Standard Time. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Work Location

  • Primarily remote; a reliable, distraction-minimized home workspace is expected.
  • Must work from one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, MD, ME, MI, MO, NV, NY, OK, OR, SC, TX, UT, WA, WY.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to10% travel to customer districts, conferences, and industry events across California, Texas, and other key markets nationwide.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sustained focus during screen and computer-based work
  • Ability to travel as required

Compensation

  • $71,000- $78,000 per year, based on experience & skills
