Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience); 5+ years in cyber security engineering or related field. Must be able to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time Zone.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹18,00,000 – ₹28,00,000/year based on Senior Security Engineer title, 5+ years experience, and Hyderabad, India location.

About the role We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Security Engineer to help protect the systems, data, and people that power Blackbaud’s mission. As part of the Cyber Security Countermeasures team, you’ll strengthen our security posture by supporting critical security technologies, responding to incidents, and driving operational excellence across a global environment. This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise while helping purpose-driven organizations achieve more. What you'll do • Protect Blackbaud’s global environment by serving as a primary responder for cyber security support requests, incidents, and operational issues. • Maintain and optimize security platforms, policies, and configurations to ensure effective protection across users, systems, and infrastructure. • Drive secure operations through patching, configuration management, and ongoing security maintenance activities. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security alerts and incidents while partnering with stakeholders to reduce risk and improve resilience. • Create and maintain documentation for security configurations, operational processes, and incident response procedures. • Collaborate with global teams to share knowledge, support security initiatives, and promote consistent security standards across the organization. What you'll bring • 5+ years of professional experience in cyber security engineering, information security, or a related technical field. • Knowledge of at least one cyber security domain, including application protection, endpoint protection, perimeter protection, or network protection, along with incident response practices. • Understanding of security operations, configuration management, patch management, and change management processes. • Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies such as CrowdStrike, CyberArk, Zscaler, Cisco Firepower, BeyondTrust, AlgoSec, Valimail, Microsoft Defender Suite, or similar platforms. • Experience securing cloud environments and related technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, email security solutions, DMARC, identity management, or privileged access management tools. Must be able to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time Zone.
