Role Snapshot
Instructional Aide supporting students with learning or behavioral needs in a full-inclusion Special Education program at Impact Academy of Arts and Technology High School. Collaborates with teachers to implement intervention plans and promote student success.
Key Responsibilities: Assist special education and general education teachers in supporting students 1-on-1 and in small groups; implement intervention plans, collect observational data on academic progress and behavior, and manage data entry for special education records and IEPs. Support students across various subject areas and document progress toward established objectives.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in special education support roles, adaptability to diverse learning styles, strong collaboration and communication skills, and solid technology skills including MS Office applications.
Qualifications: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred, with prior experience supporting students with learning needs in diverse educational settings.
Location: Hayward, California
Compensation: $24–$31/hr
