Join Skyward as a Marketing Communications Specialist to create impactful marketing materials that strengthen the brand and support sales initiatives for a global K-12 education software company. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape how the world perceives Skyward through diverse marketing projects in a collaborative, fun environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design and produce marketing collateral including brochures, banners, and web pages while collaborating with internal teams to support sales presentations and promotional events. Conduct market research, maintain brand consistency across materials, assist with conference deployments, and occasionally travel for conferences and training.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, creative mindset, and analytical and writing skills are essential for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Compensation: $40K–$44K/yr

Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist

Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office

Starting Salary: $39,891.80 - $43,880.98 (wage to commensurate with experience)

As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing marketing, advertising, and graphic design projects that support our brand, generate leads, and empower our sales team. From brochures and direct mail campaigns to conference materials and web and social media content, your work will help shape how the world sees Skyward.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, banners, and web pages
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales presentations and promotional events
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials
  • Assist with planning and deployment of conference materials
  • Organize and maintain customer testimonials
  • Travel occasionally for conferences and training

What you’ll need:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative mindset with strong analytical and writing skills
